The Davis’s were just an ordinary Post-Clintonian family who, like many, had grown weary of the same old vacation. ‘We were tired of the same old same old, “Said Jack Davis, domineering Patriarch of the Davis household, as he sat on his porch cleaning his Beretta 470 Silverhawk shotgun, “ we were tired of the princesses, and the mediocre rides that have grown obsolete.”

Jack and Irene Davis are not alone in their sentiments. Recent poles presented in Pie Graphs by the American Institute for Pie Charts and Graphs, show that in the last five years, vacationers have become more and more disappointed*. It is that thinking that brought Irene Davis to search on the Internet for their next vacation. “Jack and I decided that we wanted something special for our family, something that would teach our young kids good American Christian values. So jack allowed me to use the Internet.”

And that’s when she found Alive! Vacations and getaways, a new on-line travel agency that caters mostly to extreme adventure seekers, but has found a niche lately with the middle American family looking for something beyond the mouse.  For the Davis’s it was the jolt they’re family vacations needed.

“We’re active people,” Jack told Pirates Weekly, while he quickly whittled a sculpture of George Bush out of old stump of Oak his Pappy once pulled out of there front lawn, “I think outdoor activity is important. And at the same time if we can teach our kids that there are other, different cultures out there…and that were superior to them, well, that’s great.”

The Davis’s are of many families and couples who have found their new dream vacation in Fallujah and Samarra. “Some people take they’re family river rafting, some people go bungy jumping… But sometimes, ethnic civil unrest is the best time a hard working, patriotic, god fearing American family can have.” Jack informed us as Irene brought him a beer marked urgent, “I think it best for our kids too. I mean, traditionally Americans love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle.”
