MTV Under Fire For Upcoming “Real World: Auschwitz”

(New York, NY) Network brass at MTV recently found itself coming under heavy scrutiny for the proposed next season of their perennial teen reality series smash, The Real World. Subtitled the “Auschwitz Edition”, the latest weekly half hour program would place seven young men and women of varying alternate / aberrant lifestyles into a full scale recreation of Nazi Germany’s most notorious death camp, complete with armed Gestapo guards and doctors performing unspeakable experiments. An anonymous spokesperson for MTV Networks claims that the show’s intent is to raise awareness of past Nazi atrocities. “Kids don’t even know what half the shit their grandparents put up with back then. One fucking week on our show and I guarantee not one of the little pricks will be bitching about who-won-what event or who the fuck ate how many hot dogs in order to win some goddamned motorcycle. Have you seen those old WWII films? Those bastards had real ‘gauntlets’, let me tell you.”
